I dug up this old classic silent film from a hundred years ago of a performing Senegal Parrot. Unbeknownst to the trainer at the time, capital punishment is not the best means of dealing with an insubordinate parrot! I hope you enjoy and please share this one around.

Kili the trick trained marvelous performing Senegal Parrot was cast in the role of the insubordinate ex-parrot. This parrot has ceased to be after being shot by her impatient master. A talented actress with years of experience acting out dying scenes, Kili nailed the part!

this silent film classic was just WAY too cute --- what i liked : - Parrot Wizard Productions has taken over Metro Goldwyn Mayer. my question is, are they aware of this? is it a merger? or is PWP the new MGM ? -Kili has usurped the roaring lion. What a powerful bird. I thought Senegals were a prey species? - i like the funny on and off fading of the black and white haze - made it look realistic. for a second i thought i was going to see charlie chaplin come on screen. - the antique couch. looks real 1920s, made Kili's role very convincing. - and as usual Kili is looking cute as ever. what a great actress! looking forward to future films featuring her in the title role. what about Truman? hope he gets a role soon too. :senegal:

Actually that was Truman screeching for Kili in the opener. She's a pretty quiet bird but Truman was going off like that during the entire filming. So I used his voice instead.
